TDC61 International Communication Design Exhibition

Thu 25 Aug 2016 — Communication and Type Design returns to the Schelfhaudt Gallery as the Type Directors Club’s annual competition exhibition comes to SASD at UB.
Based in Manhattan, the Type Directors Club (TDC) invites national, international, professionals, and students to send their best use of typography and lettering in communication design. Judged by an international jury, the resulting selections are sent on world tours in seven editions. Type design accompanies communication design as the fount (that is, font) of materials for designers, and is judged by its own separate jury.
Each exhibition is inspiring for students and professionals and anyone who uses type and text — that is, of course all of us.
This is the sixty-first TDC exhibition, on show in the Schelfhaudt Gallery at SASD in the Arnold Bernhard Center, 84 Iranistan Avenue on the University of Bridgeport campus.
Hours are Monday through Friday 10:00–5:00, Saturday 12:00–5:00.

After the exhibition, the materials become part of the SASD graphic design archives for use by students and classes.
