Attended a live video chat with Deborah Dimar, vegan interior designer. Her philosophy focuses on cruelty free design, wellness/sensory environments and sustainable environments. I learned to use alternatives for hyde and toxic chemicals and to incorporate wellness and sustainability into my designs.

2018 Annual Celebration, Sept 2018
Attended a networking event and was introduced to the new 2018-2019 board ASID members.Guest speaker Lori Weitzner an American textile and product designer, presented her book “Ode to Color”. Lori gave a presentation on the correlation between human behavior and color scheme.

Fabric Show, Mar 2018
Attended a showcasing of the latest fabrics and wall coverings. Discussed with vendors about sustainable material and selected samples of fabrics.

ASID CT Career Launch, Feb 2018
Attended a networking event that held speed interviews with professionals and industry partners. The event hosted guest speaker, Jennifer Bertrand and industry partner displays.
